Blogs We Love: Core77

This week each of us CRAFT bloggers is sharing one of our favorite blogs with you. You may be surprised to know I don’t read a ton of craft blogs, as I draw inspiration from nooks and crannies of art, design, and culture blogs. One of my favorite design blogs is Core77, a written by a group who “publishes articles, discussion forums, an extensive event calendar, hosts portfolios, job listings, a database of design firms, schools, vendors and services. Core77 provides a gathering point for designers and enthusiasts alike by producing design competitions, lecture series, parties, and exhibits.” Designers are crafters and makers too, oftentimes making one-offs and prototypes out of the readily available materials. These folks are into recycled projects, a creative lifestyle, and they go to all the design shows so you don’t have to.
