I hate to be the guy who pulls the “PC” card… but I am just wondering if we’re dancing a little too close to the line, given that we’re talking about events where large numbers of people died.

Can we look to Office Warrior to bring us such fun paper renditions of Hurricane Katrina? The 2004 Tsunami? What about Auschwitz? Or 9/11?
I don’t think the fact that the Hindenburg and the Titanic went down nearly a century ago should diminish our respect for those who lost their lives.
celebrating life and death is part of the human experience – leave out the hypothetical examples, or at least wait to comment on those examples you made up if and when they exist (they likely will not in our lifetime).
titantic and hindenberg are part of our culture we all share, from movies to stories to tales of “what not to do” if you’re an engineer or making something. by celebrating them we show that we truly do respect their lives and we’ll do our best to avoid the same mistakes.
