DIY Pool Heater…

DIY Pool Heater…

Prototype 1A Using a grill to heat a pool. The device heats water 30 to 35 degrees at 3 to 4 gallons per minute flow. I find I get a 7 degree increase in my 8000 gallon pool for each 5 gallon tank of propane. Each tank will burn for about 13 to 15 hours on high. A pool cover is required. Thanks Sean! Link.

so.. you’re burning 100 kg of carbon to heat your pool in may..

please, paint your pool in black, find a frogmen swimsuit, became more cold resistant, but stop wasting precious ressources.

Stop listening to the uneducated masses and daily news propagandists. Global Warming oh wait now its Global Climate Change, is a political cause. Think about it, we had an Ice Age, it got warmer and the where no cars. We should be responsible with world but with actual facts and intelligent approaches.

i am looking for an alternative to fixing my gas heater. this idea sounds good, especialy if heating via grill wastes carbon and will make the previous responder get into the hissy she’s expressed in her response (i do assume the ‘she,’ given the elite expression – as women do have to compensate in some way nowadays to shake the ‘weaker gender’ stigma and all).
