Don’t Miss Mini Maker Faire Penang

The Penang Mini Maker Faire is going to be back this year for its second annual event. The Penang Mini Maker Faire will be happening on the 15th and 16th of October 2016 from 10AM to 7PM at Bangunan U.A.B and Penang Science Café, Penang, Malaysia.

Penang Mini Maker Faire 2016 is an event organized by TE4P, a community driven company that helps the local community in building the tech ecosystem. TE4P is a community and ecosystem builder based in Penang is focusing on the building tech startup ecosystem and empowering entrepreneurs.

This year, we are expecting more than 30 makers from different backgrounds such as hobbyist, 3D Printing, Drones, Craft, robotics and so on to join us at Penang Mini Maker Faire.

We also have some young makers coming to share about how to incubate and hatch a real egg instead of hatching an egg in Pokémon Go.

FASSHON CROWN & COSP!AY LEAGUE ASIA is coming to Penang Mini Maker Faire too. We managed to get various workshops ranging from Arduino for Beginner Workshop, Raspberry Pi Workshop, Intel Edison & Intel Genuino 101 workshops, and much more!

In conjunction with Penang Mini Maker Faire 2016, we will be hosting a one-day tour to check out multinational factories and makerspaces, they have supported and created the maker scene in Penang onsince 17th October 2016.

Vincent Kok (VK) is a Maker, a software platform application engineer in the transportation industry, graduated from USM in Master of Science (Embedded System Engineering).
