Now celebrating its fourth year, the Eugene Mini Maker Faire will be held on June 13th from 10am–4pm at the Science Factory in Eugene, Oregon.
This year, we are expanding on our diverse corps of Maker participants. Eugene is a community full of DIY hobbyists and homegrown tech startups that embrace the Maker spirit.
Previous Mini Maker Faire attendees have included:
- NextStep Recycling
- Eugene Weavers Guild
- Eugene Rocketry
- Electric Choppers of Oregon
- Fertilab Thinkubator
We’ve hosted spectacular activities ranging from an electronics take-apart table to a giant cabbage slingshot on our front lawn.
To promote our Call for Makers, we hosted a Launch Party on Wednesday, March 18th, from 6pm–8pm at the Broadway Commerce Center (downtown at Broadway and Willamette). Sponsored by The Barn Light, the party featured remarks by Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy on the Mayors’ Maker Challenge.
The Mini Maker Faire is sponsored by the Science Factory, Eugene Maker Space, and Make:.
