I was lucky enough to be raised by an amazing father, and now I’m married to another one, so I have a deep appreciation for everything Dads do. I love the idea of a twist on traditional Father’s Day gifts (like a handmade tie with a special fabric), but here are a mix of ideas, for your Dad, Grandpa, husband, brother, son, or just a wonderful Dad you know who needs some appreciation.
Know a new Dad? This ridiculously adorable New Dad and Baby set will melt hearts everywhere.
I love these 2×2 building block cufflinks so much, I bought a set for my husband at Maker Faire (shh, don’t tell!). The best thing about them is that they are lost wax cast so you can actually put real Legos on top of them.
If you’re a sewer (or even if you’re not!), here’s an oldie but goodie: Purl Bee’s Father’s Day Tie pattern. I’m swooning over the fabrics; I will definitely be making one of these out of my fabric hoard.
Check out this amazing Father’s Day Sampler Box, which includes an amazing mix of decadent delights, like hazelnut whiskey sandwich cookies and chocolate stour beer marshmallows! Yum. (Note: last day to order in time is June 7, today, so don’t delay!)
If you’ve got kids, this sweet downloadable Father’s Day book is a simple way to celebrate a Dad or Grandpa.
Is he a traditionalist? He’ll love a tongue-in-cheek ceramic shaving mug. A bit more edgy? Then I recommend this awesome spiky mug.
While there are a million “personalized” Father’s Day items for sale all over the web, I like the subtlety of this hidden message tie bar; it says ‘Dad’ in Morse code!
BBQ accessories are so tired; help him celebrate summer with a turned wooden ice cream scoop instead!
But really, what any dad appreciates the most is love, so tell him how amazing he is with a simple card. I love this Coolest Pop card.

How cool! The Lego cufflinks are the coolest things ever! I’m definitely going to try and get my dad some of those this Fathers’ Day! Last year, I bought him a Tailgater from Dish, so this year, I may just have a family BBQ for him. While we’re at his place, we might as well use the Tailgater and watch some sports. We actually had a get-together a few days ago, and I can’t express how nice it was being able to watch the Rockies game while helping my dad grill. As soon as I got off of work at Dish, I made my way over to his place and enjoyed some ribs with his special BBQ sauce. I’m sure he is going to be glad to see his family again.

Fantastic father’s day ideas- I especially think the matching tie is so cute (though I’m not sure hubby would go for it). Thanks for posting this.
