Coud anybody please tell me what exactly this is?

They’re apparently fuzzy, touch-sensitive textiles. They don’t seem to have coarse metal fibers like existing touch-sensitive fabric; I think they are capacitive sensors. Integrated into toys or garments, they’d work better and have less impact to the design than the current sorts of embedded switches.

Yep, that’s what it is. I just downloaded the PDF product sheet. I work with exhibits for a local museum, and I’m anxious to find a way to incorporate this into a display.

The company that makes the developer’s kit also sells a few ready-made items that use the technology.
