Our friend Jerry Isdale, founder of the the hackerspace Maui Makers, just received his new license plates and sent me a photo. I don’t know whether I should be more jealous that Jerry lives on Maui or has these cool plates!
I’m curious: Does anyone else have MAKE license plates for their state?

Awesome
that is funny…. because the word “make” in Hawaiian means “dead” or “deadly”
Hmmm…. that is funny, and interesting. Apparently east coast mainlanders have yet another meaning for Make.
Guess I need to make a frame that says “Grateful” at the top :-)
We got the state Organ Donor plates. Next to the Donate Life emblem, our custom plate reads “ZOMBZ”.
Every now and then I’ll see other drivers taking pictures of it on the highway. That’s when I start seeing them as potential donors.
