Homemade CNC machine (video)

Here’s a video from our pals at Technical Video Rental, Chris Reynolds talks about the CNC machine he made himself from $100 in parts over three weekends. The machine is driven by a PC running TurboCNC. The machine moves a router over an XY tabletop to cut parts from wood, foam, plastic, etc for hobbies like RC airplanes. – Link.

Uh, perhaps the poster should recalculate the cost :)

“I would estimate $100 in the machine itself but that’s the cheap part. The controller and motors came as a kit that I had to assemble, and that was around $250 I believe.”

Cool Machine. I built a similar one, but a little bigger.
I have also been working on videos that outline CNC Projects. They walk you through the steps to use a CNC Machine to build something.

    Have a good one,
