MAKE Vol. 36 is about to hit the newsstands, but we can’t wait to start talking about new issue! So we’re hosting a Google+ hangout Oct. 17 at 6pm PT and you’re invited.
The issue takes a deep dive into the world of microcontrollers and development boards. It’s also loaded with more than 25 projects. Pick up the issue and watch the hangout to learn which board is right for your current project, what new boards are about to hit the market, and what else is happening in the world of boards.
The issue hits newsstands Oct. 22, but not to worry. We’ll be giving meetup attendees a chance to download a free PDF copy of the issue.
We’ll be broadcasting from Chimera Arts makerspace once again in Sebastopol, Calif., MAKE’s hometown. Their members and local makers will be on hand to talk about the boards they prefer and why.
With Halloween just a few short weeks away we will be joined by Taylor Miller creator of the Hauntbox Prop Controller, as he shows us how you can automate your haunted house with Arduino compatible Hauntbox. We reviewed it in MAKE Vol. 35.
For those who participate in the meetup, we’ll be will be giving away a MAKE swag bag to the top three highest attending meetups which will feature a special edition Arduino timeline poster, magazines, buttons, stickers, and t-shirts. To learn more and RSVP please go here.
Tune in on Google+ for MAKE’s live hangout on air and get all your board questions answered. See you there.
