MAKE: warranty voider – Leatherman tools back in stock (soon!)

OK Makers, you asked and we’re delivering – we’re working all weekend on the MAKE: warranty voider Leatherman pocket tools (electronics and plier versions) – we have stock again, we are laser etching them up right now! So— get’em while they’re hot, literally.

Go go go!

Awesome action shots, I had no idea that the engraving worked that fast Mine shipped two days ago according to Fedex- and I can’t wait! :)

  4. philliptorrone says:

Redbluefire – thanks! i thought it would be interesting to show this, piles of boxes and all!

  5. Dirkus says:

Too bad you guys do the laser thing by appointment only. I’d like to ship my new Nano to you and let you burn the Galactic Empire logo into it, but it looks from your site over at adafruit that you guys work in person only. If someone was willing to pay extra for the trouble and the return shipping, about how much would it cost to do that?

  6. philliptorrone says:

Dirkus – adafruit doesn’t do mail order, but check out etchamac – they might. the times i have access to the laser i like to train folks how to use it and i’m publishing all i learn as i go along too, it’s not a money making biz.

I think, instead of that bland beep, the etcher should produce an old-microwave-oven “ding!” at the end.
