If you’re dying to get to Maker Faire, but are feeling a bit of a budget pinch, here are some ways to get the best prices on day and weekend passes.
- Order tickets online – discount pricing is available through 10/3/2008. Online ticket purchases from 10/4/2008 – 10/16/2008 will be full price and tickets will be picked up onsite at will call.
- Grab some friends or another family and order tickets in bulk. When you order 10 tickets or more online, you’ll receive 50% off of retail through October 4th. To access this discount, at the time of purchase, use code: MFEDU
- Volunteer – When you volunteer for 4 hours, you’ll receive a free Maker Faire Day Pass. Volunteer for 8 hours, and receive a free Maker Faire Weekend Pass.

Advanced Pricing (on the Maker Faire website through 10/3 and at Whole Foods on 6th and Lamar and at the Austin Children’s Museum through 10/17):
Adults $20 (regularly $25)
Students $10 (regularly $15) ages 13-21, or with a valid Student ID
Youth $5 (regularly $10) ages 4-12
3 and under are free
If families can order 10 or more tickets at one time (good for 2-3 families going in together) there is a 50% discount off of the regular priced tickets, so:
Adults: $12.50 (regularly $25)
Students: 7.50 (regularly $15)
Youth: $ 5.00 (regularly $10)
