Rūta Kruliauskaitė says:
Do you need a tank to change a city? Maybe. But for now let’s call it Plan B. Meanwhile, Lithuanian TEDx organizers are trying another technique: by inviting both local and world’s doers, thinkers and bringing TED spirit to TEDxVilnius stage.
We wonder if there are any MAKERS out there in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia or Poland; we truly believe there are but as far as they don’t get a lot of media coverage, we need your help! If you’re a maker or know somebody who’s from those countries and is no stranger to DIY, please, give a shout out here or send an email to ruta.k@tedxvilnius.lt. We would love to invite him or her to Lithuania for upcoming TEDxVilnius – the date is still to be considered – to make, construct or… simply talk about makers on TEDx stage!

Are you implying the Balts speak with a pronounced accent? :/
Makers form Estonia in Hobilabor (http://www.hobilabor.ee/). We are still pretty young (active since 2010) but doing the best we can to promote the maker movement :)
I’m from Latvia! ;)
