The Tape Making Madness Continues…
I needed a carrying wrap to keep tools from bouncing around in my scooter. All I wanted was a sheet with pockets/loops to hold tools. I started with only three, but there is space for more. –Link
In need of a larger bag for my camera equips, i embarked on a journey to, walmart, purchased 50yrds of heavy duty duct tape. the project took maybe an hour and a half… using 3 peices of cardboard for support and a tshirt for semi cussiony goodness, it is now complete… as well as maybe 5 feet of spare tape. –Link

Don’t forget Makers: Many small independently run businesses that started off with ideas not unlike this, have been run out of town by the corporate monstrosity that it Walmart.
I have been to Walmart, and never seen any products that are specifically made out of duct tape or even resemble it. How would walmart run a company out of business if they don’t even sell similar products? Granted, Walmart does sell the duct tape though, so wouldn’t walmart be a supply source for companies that make things out of duct tape, of course assuming they don’t buy the duct tape wholesale?
You’re right. they don’t sell products made out of duct tape. Yet. But don’t kid yourself; if it was a profitable enough product, they wouldn’t hesitate for a second to run your duct-tape-product business out of town. It would be very tough for you to compete with cheap imported versions of your product, and walmart’s tradition of paying it’s employees below sustenance wages. These things are all very well documented. try: http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/77/walmart.html
