Chris writes – “It will soon start raining here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I recently installed some [recycled] barrels to collect rain water for my gardening needs. Each barrel can hold 55 gallons of rain water. The rain water comes from one downspout, itself linked to a gutter that covers a 300 square feet roof section. Both barrels can be completely filled up when it only falls approx. 0.60 inches of rain. So here are my pictures so maybe you get inspired and install your own.”Link.
