Skype for Pocket PC is out (beta) – Version 1.2 offers the ability to make Skype to Skype calls, Skype Out calls, instant message chats and to send and receive voicemail. We also worked hard to provide good voice quality. For the best sound quality we recommend you use earphones, a device with a CPU of at least 300MHz as well as built-in WiFi. Link.

I used an older version of the beta with great success during a recent trip to Japan. I bought some SkypeOut credit before I left… $12 turned into about 11hours of talk time back to my family and work in the states. Headphones are essential. All I had to do was find internet access and I was in business. (I have a Dell Axim x50v)
nowhere on the internet can i find a skype file that allows my ipaq 4150 to work with it.
do you have the old file that worked (1.x)?
thx
