Dicovery Channel Europe ran over two years (2001-2002) a program called “Whats the Big Idea”. Where inventors all over the country were invited to submit their inventions, before a panel of Product Champions (people who’s job it is to bring inventors and manufacturers together). They were also involved with the UK Patent office which verified that the invention was unique.

ABC Australia’s “The New Inventors” showcases products from the emerging artists of the future.
Celebrate the art of invention and design since 2004 as each week three inventors pitch their prototypes to a panel of Australia’s leading architects, designers, engineers, scientists and new media specialists, who will evaluate the idea on the merits of its originality, design qualities, manufacturing potential, pricing, marketability, safety and the critical ‘need’ factor.
