The EM Brace can sense the electromagnetic radiation that is emitted from many of today’s electronic devices. After it detects the radiation, the device converts these invisible signals into physical shaking that the user can feel.
Our electronic objects reach out to us by creating low frequency electromagnetic fields. These ubiquitous frequencies penetrate and permeate our bodies at the molecular level, so spatially intimate experiences with electronics can be understood as the merging of our physical bodies with the their electromagnetic embrace.

Interesting — I have silicon coated neodymium magnets implanted in my finger tips and can feel EM fields… sounds like this is basically the same thing, but with non-implanted hardware.

Maybe one could use this to detect IR and laser nets used by security locations.
