Upcycled Pinball Machine Desk

YouTube player

Tired of getting too much work done at your boring, old, conventional desk? Then you might need to slow yourself down with the blinding magnificence of this upcycled desk made from a vintage Charlie’s Angels pinball game by Tim Sway.

[It] lights up, has a drawer, a built-in safe (thanks to the coin deposit) and tons of awesomeness.

Whilst I generally admire any creativity, this is butchery.

Generally, isn’t upcycling supposed to turn things into something better? Taking a vintage pinball machine that’s in excellent shape, gutting it and making a desk out of it is not improving the original machine.

He calls it upcycling, I call it ruining a pinball machine that will never see the light of day again (ESPECIALLY A CHARLIE’S ANGELS!!). If you’re going to ruin a pinball machine, at least pick an EM nobody wants.

Also I noticed he wasn’t wearing much of a ventilation mask, hope he doesn’t get cancer by inhaling all the lead paint that probably came off during cutting / sanding.
