I’ve been trying to download the premiere episode of SYSTM and so far it’s going good- if you use a client like Bits on Wheels you can watch all the transfers, clients as it happen. Here’s a quick video I made that shows my download/uplaod (2MB QuickTime MOV).

Azureus has had that sort of visualization for a little while now (I only noticed it a month or so ago so I don’t know how long). And personally I think azureus is the best client. It was the first to support the distributed hash table(DHT) distributed tracker and it’s always been on the forefront of innovation.

I’m doing a project about visualizing information from bittorrent such as the total amount of users online and IP address.
I need to know how to get that information, so I can create a text file out of it before I use Flash to visualize it.
By the way, my e-mail is umyot@hotmail.com. Please help. My thesis is on the line.
