I think I *may* detect a hint of sarcasm about the SIMMs in your back pocket, but as a huge nerd and a huge packrat, I can attest to the possibility of having hundreds of SIMMs around collecting dust at any time.
Also, this is a neat project for MAKE because it’s doable and can inspire other similar ideas – maybe for something you do have 54 of in your back pocket right now…
