World Maker Faire New York Call for Makers is Now Live!

Thanks to everyone who attended the first World Maker Faire New York Town Hall of 2013 yesterday evening. Thanks to Allan Chochinov and SVA’s Products of Design department for hosting us. It was great seeing so many new faces in the crowd, with lots of first-time makers showing up to ask questions and meet the team behind the Greatest Show & Tell on Earth!

In conjunction with the first town hall we also launched the Call for Makers for World Maker Faire! The open call will close on Sunday, July 29, 2013 at 11:59pm PST. Whether you’re a bicycle modder, puppet maker, invested in green tech, have a homemade 3D printer, or simply want to launch a project into space, the sooner you apply the better, as space is limited.

We can’t wait to see what amazing projects and ideas makers bring to New York City – and by extension, the world! – this September 21st and 22nd at the NY Hall of Science, our wonderful host in Queens.
