If you want to participate but still have questions, want to meet our production team, pick up some postcards and stickers, or just network with fellow makers, join us this Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Kickstarter’s headquarters in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We’ll give an overview of the maker movement’s achievements from the past year before breaking in to groups to address specific needs. Food and drink will be provided.

Call for Makers

You have an idea and you want to share it with the world. I know the feeling!

Apply now to participate in the 5th annual World Maker Faire New York. The call for makers closes Sunday, July 20, at 11:59pm PST.

Whether you want to debut your coffee-pouring robot, unleash your disco-in-a-box project, propose a talk or performance, pitch your prototype, yarn bomb a rocket, etch PCBs with bacteria, exhibit a trompe l’oeil monster, display your letterpress art, or show off your homemade superhero armor, the possibilities are endless.

Apply now!

Early Bird Tickets

Early Bird Tickets are on sale now through July 31; prices will go up on August 1. Whether you want a ticket for yourself that includes a magazine subscription, you’re looking to inspire that young maker in your family, or you simply want to gather your friends for a weekend they’ll never forget, you’ll want to purchase your tickets sooner than later.
