    Nowhere near enough warnings on this about scaling up. Didn’t Ben Franklin swear he’d never use leyden jars again, after being thrown across a room by one? Or was that leyden himself?

    There was no Leyden. There was, however, a Musschenbroek, who studied in Leyden.
