When my father was a child he used to sit on the kitchen floor with my grandmother and they would modify matchsticks to become tiny rockets. They would shoot them inside and leave tiny scorch marks on the walls. Grant Thompson, the self-proclaimed “King of Random,” has compiled a fantastic project that steps this up about 1,000 notches. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in for a treat. After watching, you’ll have a hard time not falling into a spiral of binge-watching some of his other great videos. My favorites are the magic mud from a potato and the DIY spot welder.
