See title…
I gotta tell you, It really looks like that woman went to the store, got soem greenery and shoved it in those boxes.
Has anybody actually checked that this is not only real but works?
@ BD Howard
its HDPE
@ Techskeptic,
If you had bothered to follow the links you would find that this is an Industrial Design students major project and the images are of a model as the Urb Garden is still in concept stage.
If you are interested in finding out more about this concept you could visit: http://tinyurl.com/y9armcg
I did follow the links, which is the reason I questioned whether this was real or not. Perhaps I missed it, but the make article and the first set of links just showed the same pictures, nothing saying that this was or was not being use, whether it had been tested or not. Just saying its a project doesnt mean it was or was not actually checked to work.
Ingenious. Also found this one: http://greenupgrader.com/8460/diy-vertical-herb-garden-with-a-shoe-organizer/
Very creative, it’s great for urban gardening, my friend used to attend in a garden show and she told me that vertical gardening will be wonderful concept in my apartment and as I’ve seen in your picture I think it will be a great idea.
