Limor gives a video overview of her recipe for twittering personal power via the hacker-friendly ASUS WL-520gU wireless router. Cited as reference is MightyOhm’s wifi radio tutorial. Hmmm … anyone for a third antennae? Read more of the project over at Adafruit Industries.

Nice addition to the Tweet-a-watt!
If you are not in a rush to complete this project, I suggest rfsupplier.com for the U.FL to RP-SMA pigtail and 2.4ghz antenna. They have been consistently cheaper for my rf needs for quite some time but they are located in China so shipping takes a week and a half.
Have you had success with a “Tweet-a-Temp.” I would love to combine my power usage with temperature. I saw some instructions on instructables, but it didn’t seem as main stream as the Tweet-A-Watt. Before I bought, I wanted to ask.
