I don’t suppose there are any plans to offer a module so that this can be driven by any arbitrary VGA or DVI source?

I’d love to combine this with a BeagleBoard or a micro ITX to make my dream tablet.

you can purchase something like the RM3451 controller off of ebay for around $35USD if you want to drive it from DVI or VGA.

in addition, you can drive the Pixel Qi with a SN75LVDS83B connected to a BeagleBoard or PandaBoard parallel LCD expansion header.

The Maker Shed is brought to you by Maker Media, the makers of MAKE Magazine, the Maker Faire, and much more.

Now we have a little bit of everything for makers, crafters, and budding scientists, from Arduinos to sock monkeys to chemistry sets .
