Shannon runs lives on a 160-acre farm in upstate New York with her family where she farms and writes books about clean living. I loved her previous book Radical Homemakers, a thoughtful critique and study of how to become less of a consumer and more of a home-based producer. Long Way on a Little is written in the same, well-informed vein. In true DIY spirit, she’s also created her own publishing company, Left to Write Press.
