    On the topic of heating no more water than is needed, I’m pretty sure products such as this exist that basically are a separate faucet for extra hot(very near boiling, 190* i think) water.
    My sister had one in an apartment she lived in. I only saw it once, but I’m pretty sure it heated on demand with no reservoir…I could be wrong. I wonder how the efficiency of those compares to other options such as boiling on a stove.
