    Absolutely, 100% brilliant.

    That’s really nice.

If the pen was beneath the doodle paper, it would be like Captain Kangaroo’s Magic Drawing board. (Does that date me?)

Here’s another idea — maybe someone could add an array of electro-magnets to an old flatbed scanner,
completing a whole page with one sweep of the bar. It would be even more interesting if mounted on the the wall in a picture frame.

Funny that you should mention a scanner! It’s an excellent idea, and I’ve recently disassembled one that’s just perfect. We even discussed hanging it on the wall– it would make a great installation!

I’m currently working on a drawbot myself. I am using a scanner for the X axis. I emailed Bre in Feburary and he said he would post the code for his soon!
