This tutorial shows how to build a frequency generator out of parts found at your local Radioshack. Pretty simple construction and nice detail on the enclosure with a nice array of dip switches.

Ugh arrrgh, I tried to get this circuit to work and couldn’t get it to function. I ohm out all my solder connections, checked voltages to and from the chip and chip is okay checked to make sure no cold solder joints. a frustrating tutorial at best. Interestingly enough if I short out 3 & 4 I can hear the tone being generated any thoughts. I really need this to work thanks
What are the measurements of the project box & possibly a link to buy one.
Is it possible to use the frequency generator to tamper with other devices that use microwave and radio frequency.
