Every time I launch Firefox I’m usually researching something online and/or something that has appeared on MAKE – so here’s a fun feature… You can have two pages open up in tabs as your start page, just put a link, the pipe symbol “|” and the other URL – handy!

heh.. i’ve been using this method for around a year now.. i have it set to open approx 8-9tabs..(one being MAKE :D), no wonder FF is a tad slow loading up :P
been using this for ages. quickest way to set your homepage is to open the pages you want to start with all the time then go to options which you have the screen shot of and it “use Current Pages”
bingo you have it. i open about 5 pages :):)
Brilliant! Now I can put in
about:blank | about:blank
Home pages are so 1998. I set my home page to about:blank and use the Tab Mix Plus FX extension (or use the function built in to FX2) to reload the tabs that I had open when I closed my browser the last time. I also use Portable Firefox, so no matter which computer I am on, I can start where I left off.
Actually, all you have to do. Already having your research pages opened at your Firefox tabs, is go to the Main preference(properties) and at the Home Page, click on the Use Current Pages button. It will automatically do what you just say, with all the currently opened Tabs from your research at that section. When you resume or in other words, re-open your Firefox it will load all of them.
Simple, without any additional Extensions.
