The book looks interesting. And you’re right, a lot of people are now into making their own technology. Equally interesting is the fact that high tech consumers are turning craftspeople. E.g. when she couldn’t find an ipod case to her liking, Vanessa founded Gerbera Designs- selling handmade ipod cases for around $35 a pot.
I really hope this is finally coming out. They originally had it listed for publication sometime last year, I believe. Then it got bumped to spring of this year… now it says August. I hope it’s for real.
