The epoc from emotiv has 14 times the sensors and its wireless also you know that hard metal contact on the mindflex not so with the epoc still it is a little more expensive (300 USD) and no mac support as of now. :-)
Someone posted a pretty through review (that was actually just picked up on here) that has quite a few reasons why not, not the least of which is that all the data is encrypted and can only be decrypted by their software that can only be used on windows, so you need a full windows computer between your thoughts and what ever you’re actually trying to interface with.
