I have one of these but I haven’t put it together yet. I’m hoping to use it to copy camera phone, picture files to my computer because my phone doesn’t support Blue Tooth connections to a computer.
Go for it – there’s no time like the present to take some time for yourself and build something! Let us know how it goes once you’re done.
I can’t say all my solder joints are beautiful and flawless, but they’re strong and make electrical contact; that’s the important thing, right? I like how the instructions explain the purpose of each component, not that I fully understand, but it’s still informative. The instructions and the layout of the circuit board are so clearly laid out that as long as you’re careful in following them you will always be able to make this kit work on the first try. I would be nice to have some sort of enclosure to put the SIM card reader in but I can’t think of anything. Now I have to figure out how to get my cell phone to copy all its information over to the SIM card!
