OSH Stencils, a Prototype PCB Stencil Maker

A lot of electronics hackers I know use OSH Park‘s PCB manufacturing service, where you send in your files and for a pittance, they manufacture circuit boards based on your design and mail you the result. Now the same different folks are forming a solder stencil service, OSH Stencils:

We were continually burdened by the high costs of making low volume PCB solder stencils, so we came up with a better way to serve the needs of the community at a price that doesn’t break the bank.

Our advanced render engine will allow you to upload your design, view it in a jig, and get a visual feel of exactly what your stencil will look like and how it will fit your application.

Our stencils are made from high quality durable Polyimide. Although we only recommend 75-100 uses per stencil, members in the community have done as many as 300+ boards with a single stencil, utilizing proper care. Just press Upload to get your stencil started!

They had a notice up for a little while that specifically points out that they are not the same people.

That’s correct, Laen has been very helpful and supportive of the project, but we are our own company. I hope to integrate with his service someday, but I know he’s busy working on some other neat projects.

    My bad! Fixed it.
