It’s Sunday morning at the Jacob K. Javits Center on the West side of Manhattan, where the second day of Engadget Expand is well underway. The two teams in our Raspberry Pi Make: Off are caffeinated and making progress on their projects. The Sea Slugs now have the web-based interface for their wireless tracker, Find My Little Friend. On the other side of the kitchen, the members of Team Astronaut Mike Dexter are testing their photo booth’s shutter actuation mechanism, which takes cues from a pinball machine shooter.

There are only a few hours left in the competition before the MAKE judges evaluate each project and a winner is selected. Watching the incredible resourcefulness and ingenuity happening on the convention center floor has been incredibly inspiring and I think the judges will have a very difficult decision to make.
