I just read about the Media Center RSS reader on The Unofficial Blog of the Unofficial Guide to Windows Vista, and hoped it would work with the Xbox 360 Media Center Extender. It does, but it takes a couple extra steps, because the Xbox 360 Media Center Extender runs under a different user account. First of all, you should make sure that the Media Center RSS Reader works correctly under Windows Media Center, and that the Extender is configured on your Xbox 360.Next, open up an Administrator Command Prompt (click the start menu, type cmd.exe into the search field, and press Ctrl-Shift-Enter). Now you need to find out where your feeds are and copy them into the Mcx1 (the name might be slightly different) user’s feeds directory
Now your feeds should show up in your Xbox Media Center under Accessories! Link

Brian,
I have XP MCE 2005 and connected to my xbox360 thru a router. I can look into my photos, music and home videos although I cannot currently see the rssfed reader at my xbox360 mce which is what you have described. Question:
Am I understanding correctly that for the rss feed reader files to appear in the xbox360 mce it requires the rss feeds be copied into the folder called mcx1? I have mcx1, mcx2 and mcx3 which it looks like they are users to me but with in the mcx1 I need to copy the rss feeds from my current location …my documents/my rss feeds into …/mcx1? Which within the folder my rss feeds are only files wmv or mov. I think I am missing something because you have files that are called …feed-ms and I cannot find them.
Thanks for the help.
David
