Woody Cornett III built this impressive robot demon prop. Check out the complexity of the control wiring at 2:41. It starts to move around 3:28. More pics on this thread at HauntForum.com.

Very Nice, but with that amount of wires, controllers, Relays, and such I was waiting for that thing to do back flips, communicate in 3 different languages and go back in the garage by itself at the end of the working shift… :)
Here we go again, yet another video unwatchable because the music in the background drowns out whats being said. Unbelievable.
looks like the beginning of a stephen king novel at 4:09
I agree. I am NOT one of those untalented do-nothings that poo-poo stuff I see, but a simpler control system could be implimented. Twice I made simple yet effective sequencing systems using a gear motor, a round disc and a bunch of micro switches triggered by notches filed into the disc. You hit a momentary button to start the low RPM gear motor and it goes through it’s rotation, the notches trigger the switches to do their thing at desired timing, and when complete it shuts itself off like a windshield wiper rotation. Surplus stores have $3 115VAC gear motors as slow as 1RPM to do a lengthy show.
