FIRST Robotics – winners!

Congrats to all the winners from this year’s FIRST robotic competition!

After six weeks of strategy and sweat, a coalition of high school teams from Connecticut, Massachusetts and Nevada took the top prize at the FIRST Robotics competition, otherwise known as the “Superbowl of Smarts.”

Bobcat Robotics from South Windsor, Connecticut, Highrollers from Las Vegas, Nevada, and Gompei and the HERD from Worcester, Massachusetts, won before thousands of screaming high-school participants.

I went to the first two days of this competition, it’s the most awesome thing I’ve ever been too, though I have yet to go to a maker faire… I was there for the FIRST Vex Championships, and my team qualified in 2nd place, but were beaten in the quarter finals
