Video from the NASA/VCU FIRST robotics competition – A lot of durability and articulation seem required for this bot-bout. It’s really amazing what a group of high school students can crank out in six weeks. Get a closer look at some of the players and makers involved:

Go team 135! woot!
The FIRST Robotics NASA/VCU Regional Competition kicked butt! Congrats to everyone. Especially the Christopher Walken Robot.
I heard this story on my way to church Sunday and it was GREAT!
Great fun and what a learning experience.
This is an absolutely wonderful organization and one I encourage everyone to be involved in! The kids get such a great team and learning experience and many of them go on to attend engineering or marketing schools based on the skills they have learned.
Go ROBODOGS team 435 2008 Regional Champs!!
Volunteering with FIRST is truly a wonderful experience, and it definitely is amazing what the students can turn out in six weeks. However, it’s more about the camaraderie among and within the teams, and that’s far more rewarding than anything else.
