Last year at CES, I got my first hands on with Cubelets by Modular Robotics. This year, they’re back with the more advanced MOSS Robot Construction System. As with Cubelets, MOSS modules connect magnetically, but now allow you to make moveable joints. They’re also offering a Bluetooth module so that you can control your bot with an Android or iOS device. You can pre-order the basic builder kit for $149.95 and or the Advanced Builder kit for $399.95. The company expects to start shipping units in April.
