Cool man. This works great. I added a switch and made the capacitance even smaller by adding them in series. I have a cool blue (5900mcd) LED flasher in my room now. Now anyone know how to add another LED and make it alternate with this guy?
“Component values are not critical” – but, doesn’t the RC constant (R2? and C1) determine the period of the flashing?

For alternately flashing two LEDs, use a Bicore.
