DiResta: Inc. Clock Sign

The Inc. is a maker space at Solomon Schechter School, a high school in Westchester, New York. I was asked to design and make the sign/clock. After some thought, I decided to use the technique I used before, to create a 3D collage. I made the collage using tools and parts found in the shop. The letter and the housing of the clock was created in medium density fiberboard. The letteres are made to look like rusted steel, and I used “Sophisticated Finishes” to create the rust effect and trapped the tools under a liquid plastic called “EnviroTex Lite.” Please enjoy!
