Looking for a way to add some color into your home, but are on a tight budget? Check out this nifty wooden shim project created for under $20 by Monica and Jess at the East Coast Creative Blog.

If you don’t like the idea of permanently glueing sticks to your wall, you could use a sturdy backing board to glue them to and then hang it up on your wall. That way you can always shift it around to get the placement just right, and even take it with you if you decide to move.
