Julie Sawyer is the district department leader of the K-12 Fine and Applied Arts Department in Farmington, CT. There is a great interest in developing makerspaces in Farmington Public Schools and the art department was thrilled to have the leadership and vision of Balam Soto as their Artist-Maker-in-Residence.
