Transform a garden-variety garden gnome into your favorite superhero! Awesome. Instructables user The Papier Boy has a step-by-step tutorial up. He uses Sculpey and Bondo to subtly alter the shape of the gnomes, adding superhero masks and details, like bat ears on Gnome Batman. [Thanks, Naomi!]

Once I dove into sailor knots in my latest Nautical Lamp video, I can’t stop! I really love the designs created by this functional form of tying rope, and I particularly enjoy when people customize it for themselves. This knotted headband by You Seriously Made That is a fun spin using yarn.
