Master modder Jan made a really neat PC- After finishing my last project, I just had to do something new. I thought about what to do for months and had several good ideas, but finally I fell for Bender. I’ve always been a big Futurama fan and I was 100% certain I’d be able to do this, despite how much time and money I’d spend. I would never have been able to finish this project if I hadn’t had help from my friends: Einhar Flå – for welding, Geir Gravem – who calculated the angles and proportions. So a big thanks to these guys… [
Mark Davis made a really cool reversible sweater with the happy and sad mac logos for his girlfriend as a graduation present. On Flickr he says “the 1:1 pixel ratio had to be adapted by hand to work with the 4:5 ratio of single crocheting rows” looks like he’ll make them too for yarn + time. [
I heard you can make a fine living playing pachinko once you have the “hungry spirit”…The Pachinko Hakubutsukan (Pachinko Museum, more pictures) boasts 148 machines, many of them rare and historic mementos of the game’s industry. “I am really grateful for my encounter with pachinko. I wanted to say thank you to pachinko and wanted to return something” to the game, explained Tetsuya Makino, its manager.
Slight shot with a laser sight, they’re $49 – you could likely build your own for cheaper, these are pretty neat though – The secret to the Laser Slingshot lays within its dual offset pivoting system. This system is able to precisely align a laser or sight to the trajectory of the fired projectile. This revolutionary breakthough allows the Laser Slingshot to precisely split pencils at 20 feet, hit cans as far as 150 feet, and hit flying targets with a shotgun spray of BBs (with optional addon shotgun pouch).
