Here’s HOW TO create your own optical wallpaper for your room…If you put a magnifying glass a few inches from a wall that is opposite a window, you will see the outside view projected upside down on the wall. But if you put a lens on the window and cover the rest of the window with opaque material, the lens will project the outside view over the entire opposite wall, of course you must have the proper size lens for the room. A former Hollywood stunt man now living in the Netherlands launched his greatest project to date Tuesday: a 45-foot replica Viking ship made of millions of wooden ice cream sticks and more than a ton of glue. Link.
Here’s Jason Kronenwald’s website- He’s into some old master bubblegum painting! He doesn’t like to chew his own gum, but instead has an army of gum chewers. Powerpage has a review and selected Griffin AirClick USB as Powerpick. I’ve been meaning to write about this- if you present on a Mac or PC the AirClick is the best remote I’ve ever used. As as added bonus it works as an iPod remote from 60 feet away (it’s RF not IR). So for presenting, remote control kiosks/projects and music it’s permanently in my gadget bag. Link.

Dave Matthews Band encouraging fans to bypass DRM restrictions on new album (and, funny enough, petitioning Apple to ignore DRM restrictions in iTunes).
